I love Costco

Ok, the last entry was sad. I'm sorry if I got anyone thinking I'd be serious for once on my blog.

Foreward ho! I was a little hesitant about writing on this subject--fearing it would make more look even more pathetic than I am. But, I don't think that's possible. I write today about my beloved wholeseller COSTOCO! My workplace is right next to (within walking distance) a Costco. Oh, and lookee here, I LIVE right next to a Costco too. Oh, how God has blessed me (: During lunch time or before I head home, I like to stop by and grab a chicken salad from their food court. That's only 3.98 (including tax)!!! I always see families there having a meal and i'm thinking, who brings their family to Costco for a meal? But then I realize--why the heck not?! Not only do their food courts have super cheap food, but they have samples every five feet you walk. Like many of the other asians "shopping" at Costco, I have no shame. I will stand 5 mins next to a table waiting for auntie maria's spaghetti to heat up in the microwave. And it's not like i'm an ethiopian child who hasn't eaten for days. Which leaves me to question, what is our obsession with free food?

Why don't you chew on that.... *snicker*

I don't have many pictures to show (I will after next week for sure), but here's a picture of some ppl in my small group.

Deep Thoughts

It's Monday evening and I'm waiting at work so I can leave for a class that starts at 7:00. I know it's dark outside--I hate how the sun disappears by the time I get out of work. It's about an hours drive to College Park, MD and during that time I like to pop in some inspirational music and reflect on life. I had a certain desire to start early today and go into deep thought on this blog, now. I don't do this often--i'm even a little embarrassed as I type this out. But here goes....

WHAT...do I eat for dinner?

Thanks for reading, friends. Your prayers are appreciated.

Election Day!

I went to go vote today because Puffy says if I don’t vote, I’ll die.

I knew I was in for something when I arrived at the little community center. There was a long line of people leading to the entrance. Someone said it would be a 50 minute wait. I pulled out my iPod and started thinking about who I should vote for. Hahaha, I kid…err, sorta. Maybe…ok maybe half-kidding.

There were two lines—one for A-K and the other for L-Z. I couldn’t help but notice that my line was moving faster *snicker*. It was like I was in traffic or something. Don’t you hate it when ur waiting in line and someone in front of you repeatedly leaves a large gap between him and the person in front of him? [See diagram below]

On a lighter note, I’ve been getting into baking again. I hope this phase doesn’t turn into the whole banana bread fiasco that occurred jr year…or the frying rampage during superbowl sunday. I tend to get a little carried away when I cook…. Cookies anyone? (:

For anyone who has been to jibjab.com--go visit it. They have two Flash animations out that are hilarious.
