Back to St. Louis

Papa Huang congratulated me on my last entry b/c I posted a lot of photos. He told me my long paragraphs are, "just a lot of bullsh(:t, right?" Hahahahaaaa.... I know the FOB him is straining to understand why I compose letters to seasons (see last entry).

...and then he reminded me it was about time my prelude acquired new tires.

So I will keep this one short. My trip to St. Louis was just wonderful. It was good to catch up with friends I hadn't seen in a while and see parts of St. Louis I had never visited (I've concluded that in the FOUR YEARS I lived there, I only really knew my way around the South 40 and main campus. Oh, and how to get to the mall and back). Yes yes, thanks friends (: Until next time--I'll miss ya'll very much.

Kathy and Melissa's apt. The first thing I said when I walked in was, "Oooooohh my gosh. I Loooove it. Loooove it!"

Kathy and I visited every chocolate shop in stl. Here we enjoy a truffle from one. At 1.25 a pop, you bet we were sharing this puppy. Actually, no, all we did was pose with one and then return it.

Oh, we are so multicultural--cuban food at La Tropicana. Melissa, Kathy, me, Brian, al_ICE, and Christine.

Fall, I Welcome You!

Dear Fall Season,
Hi, my name is Jennifer. I'll have to admit I was pretty bummed when Summer left, but then I saw the leaves this weekend and I forgave you. It's unfortunate that your name is synonymously linked with broken bones and knee scrapes, but you know what they say, "Once you Spring, you've gotta Fall." Ha-haaaaaaa, okimadethatupmyself.... I guess it wouldn't really make sense if you referred to yourself as "Autumn," but I digress.

So yes, you are a beautiful season--but I still have a few gripes. I can't seem to find my car when I get off work. Why? WHYYYY?? B/c I can't see--there is no SUNLIGHT. Also, if you woudln't mind keeping it consistent with the weather, that would be great. I broke out the winter coat AND went back to the tank top within a two-week span.

Oh yes, and thank for Thanksgiving and Black Friday(!).
