Messed Up Radio
Ok, society is definitely going down the toilet. Have yall heard about The Tsunami Song that a radio station in New York played last week? Basically, this morning show created what they thought was a "funny" tsunami song making fun of the victims. It's pretty racist and overall tasteless. Here is a clip that includes a heated discussion between the morning show host, Miss Jones, and one of her sidekicks, Miss Info, before playing the song.

Alton Brown and Snow
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
Scrubs has been moved to 9/8c on NBC.
As a matter of fact, I missed last night's episode [gasps amongst the crowd] because I was waiting for FOUR FRIGGITY HOURS to meet Mr. Alton Brown ("AB" as his close friends call him--me being one of those close friends). People may mock my persistency in meeting this B-list celebrity. And to those people I shake my fist and say, "My souffle is no doubt better than yours." A picture from the event:

In other news, it's snowing. Growing up in a state where there are vast numbers of snowstorms (kidding of course), I am a little cautious when it comes to driving in this mysterious white powdery substance that seems to fall straight from the sky....
"This is Michael Minitry with the traffic this snowy Wednesday afternoon. Expect delays on the Inner Loop near route 123. On Fairfax County Parkway, there is a light blue Prelude going North traveling at a steady 5 miles an hour with its hazard lights flashing. It's causing a back-up of about 10 miles...."
I'm going on a snowboard trip this weekend--leaving Friday and coming back Sunday. Don't know anyone too well on the trip 'cept for my buddy Daniel. I was invited by a fella I met in my Software Engineering class (nerds unite!). I haven't snowboarded in a while, but it should be fun. I'm also deathly afraid of cold weather (frostbite is no joke)--and plan to pad myself with those pocket heaters. You know, the ones that are about the size of a credit card that are activated upon opening. I'm going to cover EVERY INCH of my body with a pocket heater! I may have burn marks and blisters by the end of my trip--but at least I'll be warm.

Back Home
Sigh...what a nice trip back home for Christmas. Makes me want to move down to Big D for life...sorta, kinda, not really. I had a great time meeting up with friends I hadn't seen in a while. My family is the same same:
- Daddy Huang wants to get an earring to be like Harrison Ford.
- Mama Huang still keeps the house at a comfortable 50 degrees and insists we should be wearing more clothes.
- Kimmy Huang has successfully morphed into an anime character and speaks only in Japanese.
- Bomber Huang continues to take his Ritalin pills.
I also learned a few things from my trip:
- Aaron is indeed my sugar daddy.
- Alice, ladies and gentlemen, has a purse.
- I still cannot win in poker.
- I suck even more at mahjong.
- PCAC (my church) still thinks I'm a college student.
- Varkas can exist outside his computer.
- God made small, portable heaters for Asian families like mine.
- ICES is a chilled dessert.
- I am cursed when it comes to traveling (almost missed my flight again--go me).
- Hello my name is Jennifer, and I am a xanga stalker even when on vacation.
- When at home, food will enter my mouth at least once every five minutes.
- Conan is super.
Believe it or not I only took a few pictures during Christmas. I know i know, it's unheard of. What's worse is that most of the pictures I took are of me and (1 out of 3 best friends) Aaron. Here are some winners:
