Yeaaaa for visitors!
I just don't understand. Why does the DC area shut down at the drop of a snowflake? I'm from friggity Texas and I think the driving conditions are perfectly fine outside. If they salt the streets any more, my car's going to turn into a white Prelude. Lame.
So many things going on these past few weeks. Kathy's visit was jammed packed with all sorts of fun stuff. What can I say? I am an itinerary Nazi. The highlight of the trip for me was our visit to the National Aquarium......because it was a LOAD OF CRAP. Go spend your 5 bucks on a hot dog and then throw it at the building--I can find better fish at a Chinese restaurant (and I get to eat 'em too). And then this past Friday I got ANOTHER visitor, Mr. Matt Minn (well, not really visiting me--just passing through I guess). It was to me another excuse to ride the METRO (wooweee) into the city. Lucky for me we rented Napoleon Dynamite b/c I saw my friend Daniel perform the dance the next night at the church retreat. Here is DANpoleon Yu's rendition of the famed dance--it's funny stuff:

To top it all off, 1/3 of my best friends (Aaron) is coming to visit this weekend! I will have an itinerary set up for him as well. The fun never stops!
NOTE: Someone has challenged me to abstain from AIM for an entire week. It will be painful, but it will be done. I will happily accept phone calls and emails (jch1 at wustl dot edu). Wish me luck.
